Entries will be open on 1st June for Frenchay Fun Dog Show!

We are thrilled to have a Fun Dog Show at our event this year. 

Tickets will be available for your beloved pooch to participate in the exclusive Fun Dog Show, we urge you to secure your spot early. Choose from seven unique classes to showcase your dog’s talents.

Dogs must be entered before the day of the show.  Dog Show Entry Tickets can be purchased online through our website. 

There are trophies and rosettes to be won…and lots of treats, too! 

We offer seven fun dog classes, including one specifically for children aged 4 to 14 years.

  • Child Handler (children aged 4 to 14 years of age) 
  • Best Rescue Dog
  • Best Veteran – Dogs over 8 years of age.
  • The dog that the judge would most like to take home.
  • Prettiest Bitch/ Most Handsome Dog
  • Best Trick
  • The dog that most closely resembles its owner.

Only £2.50 per entry – Only one entry is allowed per class. Enter as many classes as you wish.

Please Note that Dog Show Competitor Tickets are for your dog’s entry only. As a dog owner, you’ll need to buy a Frenchay Flower Show General Entry ticket to accompany your pooch into the showground. But don’t worry, accompanied children under 16 years of age go in for FREE!

 

What to do on the day

The Flower Show opens at 11.30 a.m. All Dog Show Competitors must report to the Dog Show Arena with their ticket for class registration by 11:15 a.m. AT THE LATEST. 

  • The dog show starts promptly at 11:30 a.m.
  • Judging will be adjudicated by (to be confirmed). 
  • Winning trophies, rosettes and doggy treats will be awarded on the day.

Terms & Conditions

Remember, it’s crucial to keep your dogs on a lead and under control AT ALL TIMES to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for everyone. 

  • Please remember to bring your poop bags and clean up after your dog!
  • No puppies under 4 months are allowed.
  • No unvaccinated dogs are allowed.
  • All judging will be by the ‘Expert Eye Only’ without handling or touching.
  • The judge’s decision is final and cannot be appealed.

In extreme heat or high temperatures, the judge may decide that, on grounds of safety and animal welfare, the show will not proceed.

All tickets are non-refundable.
