Thank You for Supporting Frenchay Flower Show 2025

We are so grateful for your generous help – especially to all our volunteers who made this event possible.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all our volunteers who have worked tirelessly throughout the year, as well as to those who assisted on the day of the event, from early morning until dusk, enduring the sweltering heat on what was arguably the hottest July day in a century.

Your sacrifices and hard work have not gone unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for your dedication. Over eighty volunteers generously contributed their time, effort, and many talents, and their collective efforts brought a positive and memorable experience to our community.

Without the commitment and participation of these true friends of Frenchay, the flower show, a cherished tradition, would not have been possible. We owe them an immense debt of gratitude, and their service will always be remembered as an essential contribution to the wider Frenchay community.

I would also like to thank Councillor Liz Brennan (Frenchay & Downend) and Claire Hazelgrove MP for their support and encouragement in continuing this remark able community tradition established in 1945.
