Where is Frenchay Flower Show?

Frenchay Common, just outside St John the Baptist Church. This new location is right in the heart of the village.

How Can I Get There?

Public transport. By bus. Bus number 50 will bring you right to the Frenchay Showground. M3 will bring you to the ring road and M1 & M4 will drop you at Begbrook a 15 minute walk away

By cycle. The flower show is only a few minutes from the cycle path from Bath to the University West of England’s Frenchay Campus, which is a short walk from the flower show site.

Arriving by car. There is ample free parking on Frenchay Parklands between Begbrook Park, Loverose Lane, and Lime Tree Walk. 

What Are The Opening and Closing Times?

Saturday, 11th July 2026

  • 10.30 Show Opens  
  • 11.00 Fun Dog Show starts
  • 12.00 Marquee opens  
  • 17.30 Show closes

What are the Gate Entry Prices?

Adults are £8. Children under 16 accompanied by an adult are Free. Payments can be cashless or cash. However, cashless is preferred and encouraged.
Tickets bought online in advance are discounted to £6.00.

Are There any Toilets on the site?

There are toilets, including disabled accessible toilets.

Are there Baby Changing Facilities?

Yes. Baby changing facilities are available.

How do I Enter my Exhibits into the Horticultural Classes, Baking, Art and Photographic Competitions?

All exhibit entry forms are FREE ENTRY.

WE CURRENTLY SETTING UP THE DATABASE AND ENTRY FORM SYSTEM. WE APPRECIATE YOUR PATIENCE  

(Entry Forms are an easy-to-complete online entry form, which is available on this website.

ALL entry forms must be received by 5:00pm Wednesday 8th July 2026 AT THE LATEST.

The online entry form on the website is the quickest and easiest and can be sent electronically.)

When Must my Entry Form be Submitted?

Entry forms for all classes must be submitted by 5:00pm on Wednesday 8th July 2026 AT THE LATEST.

Bringing your Exhibits to the Show

Having submitted your entry form by 5:00pm on Wednesday 8th July, you should then bring your exhibits and competition entries to the Marquee on either:

  • Friday 10 July between 4.00pm to 7.00pm.
  • Saturday 11 July, on the morning of the show, between 7.30am and 9.30am AT THE LATEST. Please arrive as early as possible because the site will be very busy. All vehicles must be off the site by 9.30am for safety reasons as we set up the Show site        

You be issued with your personal exhibit cards by one of our friendly stewards when you arrive at the Marquee with your exhibits. You will then be directed to where you can place and stage your exhibits.

PLEASE NOTE THAT LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE TAKEN ON THE SHOW DAY.

Can I Bring my Dog?

Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must always be kept on a lead, and owners must clean up after them. Bins are located throughout the showground. 

Owners are responsible for the behaviour of their pets. Permission for any animal on the showground may be withdrawn at any time if the pet is a nuisance.

Will there be First Aid?

Trained medics with an ambulance will be on site.

Besides the Exhibition Marquee, are there other entertainments?

There are many children’s amusements, a children’s magician, and alpacas. There will be a Brass band, Morris dancers, classic cars and over 60 stalls selling a wide range of crafts and gifts.

Where Can I Park?

There is ample free parking on the Frenchay Parklands, between Begbrook Park, Loverose Lane, and Lime Tree Walk. Drive to the roundabout near Frenchay Museum. Sign posts will direct you to the car  park.

We ask all those attending to be courteous, considerate and responsible, and, above all, respectful of the property and privacy of our neighbours.

Can I Buy Food at the Show?

There will be a variety of food and drinks vendors at the show. There will also be hot and cold drinks. Alcoholic drinks are not permitted.

Food Suppliers will be offering Vegetarian and Vegan options   

Can I Bring a Picnic?

Yes. You are allowed to bring food and drink onto the site. Alcoholic drinks are not permitted. Please remember to take your litter home.

Are There Litter Bins?

Litter bins will be located throughout the show site. This will be marked for recycling: Paper, Plastic and general waste.

Is there a Marquee Exhibit, “Sell Off”, at the end of the Show ?

At approximately 5:00 pm, many exhibits and prize produce, including cakes, jams, desserts, fruits, vegetables, floral displays and art, are sold by auction, with many bargains!

Is there a Cash Point at the Show ? 

There is no cash point at the Show. There is one nearby at the local garage by the Frenchay Museum
