This years stalls are a huge attraction!

Not only have we doubled the number of stalls to over 60, and we’ve included a wide range of tasty food treats, so there’s something for everyone.

Fabionis Pizza will offer Wood Fired pizza, and Cheeky Pancakes will serve their savoury and sweet Dutch pancakes. And we are very pleased to present award-winning cheese made by hand at Park Farm, Kelston, near Bath, with milk from their cows. We have the finest quality coffee from Cafe 2 U. There are also our popular favourites, such as the traditional cream teas, the Scouts BBQ and our Ice Cream vans.

So you’re not hungry? What about our garden plants, handmade crafts, jewellery and gift stalls. Local organisations and charities are represented with regular favourites such as Guide Dogs for the Blind, Bee Keepers, and the Owl and Hawk Trust.

It’s new! And it’s exciting! It’s class 133..!

This year, a new “Free From” competition class is open. It’s Class 133. We believe we are the first flower show in the UK to have a “Free From” category.

What is Free From? “Free From” refers to foods free from certain allergens or substances that some individuals may need to avoid due to allergies, intolerances, or dietary restrictions, such as gluten, dairy, nuts, sugar etc.

So what can be entered? All foods are eligible, from baking, cooking, jams, bread and many more – they must have at least one allergy or dietary ingredient substituted or left out. You might want to make dietary jam, gluten-free bread or a sugar and egg-free Victoria sponge. So how do we judge it? Because this is the first year and there will be a range of food items submitted, the judges will, for this year only, choose a winner based on the two criteria of presentation and taste. So who’s up for this challenge?

Please note that this new class does not appear on the previously published Show Schedule, so when submitting your Entry Form, please refer to Class 133 and, to help the judges, briefly explain what is omitted, substituted and/or added.

A really massive thanks for our sponsors.

Without our wonderful sponsors, the amazing Frenchay Flower Show wouldn’t happen.

Yes, okay, an army of local volunteers give willingly of their time, hundreds of hours, through the long dark evenings of winter, with the single thought of a gloriously sunny flower show in July.

But, at the end of the day, without the incredibly generous donations from our sponsors, the show wouldn’t go on. And, if we’re lucky enough to make a small profit, it’s all given to local charities…so it’s a win-win for everyone.

Let’s not be coy, who are these white knights? And that’s not an exaggeration. Well, this year we have attracted some large national companies, but mostly our sponsors are small local business who have been supporting Frenchay Flower Show for many years, sometimes decades.

So let’s recognise their support and say a huge thank you, and repay the compliment by supporting them – From everyone at the Frenchay Flower Show Team
